Chorus has its own data centre designed to provide a suitable environment for housing a replica of client's critical data and applications. We provide rack space in an air and power conditioned environment which is monitored by our team of specialists.

Having analysed clients systems we design a carefully rationalised
hardware platform that provides a working replica of their live
operation. This means that we create a “hot standby” environment to allow critical systems to be maintained and functional in the event that a crisis has occurred.

If an emergency situation is invoked clients can access their systems via the Internet or from other locations (temporary offices, home etc.) They can also elect to have their hardware transported to alternative office premises if this is preferred.

Clients can also elect to replicate their data to our site in real-time or in a batch operation (overnight for example). For some organisations realtime updates may be critical whereas others may prefer to update on a delayed basis. Real-time means that deletes will also be replicated instantly while the latter method could mean that the current day's work may be lost if systems go down prior to a backup.

Obviously, replicated data is not intended to be a replacement for regular backups but provides an almost seamless process for ensuring that your business can continue to operate in the event of an
unforeseen emergency.
