High Availability

Increasingly, businesses are concerned with making sure that their IT systems are always available. Extensive working hours, particularly for international organisations, and a heavy reliance on email means that unexpected disruptions are becoming increasingly intolerable.

We have developed considerable expertise in deploying highly available server systems. This means that we use standby servers to protect critical machines. For instance, if a protected Microsoft Exchange server fails its standby device takes over seamlessly and users carry on without interruption. This system also has the added benefit of allowing critical servers to be taken off-line for planned maintenance, while the standby devices take over.

We work very closely with British software company, Neverfail and they have an extensive product portfolio that covers protecting File services, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Sharepoint and IIS.
